- Fifteen hundred war veterans affiliated with the Steel Helmet organization, which is the political ally of the national socialist party of Germany, are under arrest at Brunswick, suspected of fomenting a revolt against the Nazi rule.
The Nazi campaign to offset widespread reports of persecution of Jews has taken the form a general boycott of Jewish shopkeepers and professional men.
The government has indicated that it will not interfere so long as foreign newspapers continue to report atrocities.
Jews all over the world have joined the protest against what they believe to be persecution in Germany.
