- CHICAGO, March 24.—(AP)—Jews representing many Chicago organizations in a stormy session decided to stage a mass meeting in protest of reports of mistreatment of others of their race by the Hitler government in Germany.
A committee of twenty-five was appointed to meet today to plan a demonstration to be held as soon as possible. While no decision was reached the names of Senator Borah, Alfred E. Smith and Newton D. Baker were mentioned in discussion as to selection of a speaker. - History Unfolded Contributor
