A mass meeting of protest against the activities of Chancelor [sic] Adolph Hitler in Germany will be held tonight at the synagog [sic], Cookman avenue and Langford street, starting at 8 o'clock.

Today has been set aside by the Nazi government for the burning of books that are "un-German." Among them are many famous Jewish works, including those of Mendelssohn, Heine, Schiller, Kant, Beethoven, Bach, Marx and Wassermann.

Rabbi Nison Heifetz, South River, will be the principal speaker. Rabbis Meyer Cohen, of the Congregation Sons of Israel, and Ralph Hershon, of Temple Beth El, will also speak.
