Article Text
MEXICO CITY, Feb. 17. (AP)—Request that the siren propaganda campaign being conducted in the United States by the Mexican repatriation committee be stilled in order to prevent the "sorry plight" that Mexican repatriates find themselves in when they return to Mexico was made today in a letter to President Abelardo Rodriguez by the Union of Mexican Repatriates.

The Union of Repatriates declared that the repatriation committee has sent propaganda throughout the United States in which bright promises are made, but not subsequently kept. The union charged that Mexicans are lured back to Mexico by these promises and subsequently abandoned and become social parasites.
