NEW YORK, July 30 (AP)—The Commonweal, Catholic weekly, tonight made public an editorial in an issue to be published next Monday, which calls for a Catholic boycott of the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin.

The editorial urges that all church organizations inform their members that "participation in the approaching games means endorsement of wilful [sic] and violent persecution."

The editorial recites the order of dissolution of the Deutsche Jugendkraft, a Catholic sports organization in Germany, and incidents which allagedly [sic] attended Catholics in Germany, in support of the plea for boycotting the Olympics..
