- HAVANA. May 28 (INS) One hundred German Jewish refugees were denied permission to land here tonight when they arrived aboard the French liner Flandre and proceeded to Mexico. It was anticipated by officials who refused landing permits that the refugees will not be permitted to land there either and will again seek entry into Cuba when the ship returns next week.
