Washington, July 14 (AP)—In a new denunciation of nazi atrocities in Europe, Secretary of State Hull declared today that the entire Jewish community of $1,000,000 persons in Hungary is threatened with extermination.

At the same time, he declared that "the cold blooded murder of the population of Distomo (Greece) is another shocking example of the reign of terror which the nazis have instituted in Europe and which becomes more savage as they become more desperate."

Hull issued separate press conference statements on the Hungarian Jews and the Distomo destruction and promised in each one that punishment "will be meted out" to persons responsible for the atrocities.
