Description Residents with a DC public library card number and PIN can access digitized historic issues of the Washington Evening Star online from the years 1933-1945. The Martin Luther King Jr. branch of the DC public library also provides access to many local newspapers from the period 1933-1945 on microfilm. These include the Washington Post, the Washington Evening Star, the Washington Daily News, Washington Herald, Washington Times (Old) Evening Edition, and Washington Times Herald.
